The Oracle DBA will be responsible for maintaining, tuning, and monitoring the Oracle databases in the cloud. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the database-related needs for Capital Projects and Service Operations. The ideal candidate will have production support experience with Oracle Exadata, ExaCS, DBCS, and AWS RDS. The candidate will work primarily under the Customer Operations Team.
Oracle Certification Professional or MS Azure Database Administrator Associate Certification
Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
5+ experience in Database Administration with a focus on Oracle Server
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Database Backup and Disaster Recovery with a strong understanding of high-availability solutions.
Database cloning procedures to create different environments.
Database installation, patching and upgrade.
Writing and optimizing PL/SQL.
Writing scripts to automate DBA utilities and manage various system operations.
Performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of the different database environments.
Database monitoring using AWS Cloudwatch and/or OCI Performance Hub
Administration of multi-tenancy database architecture.
Database replication, security, encryption, and data masking.
